About Malampaya Ecotours

Malampaya Ecotours was born in Palawan at the end of 2016 as a new concept tour operator. It was founded by biologists with the aim of developing tourism packages promoting sustainability, community development and conservation. Malampaya Ecotours dismisses the benefit-based aproach of conventional tourism, but does not give up to implement a competitive business model. The company is convinced that only strong alternatives pose a real choice to shift current archetipes towards a more eco/human-friendly industry.

Our goal is to create a thriving economy in depressed areas by basing on ecotourism. Ecotourism provides long-term livelihood with a minimum impact, improving people’s life while preserving the quality of their environment. This ends up creating a link between conservation and welfare and the seedling of a major cultural change.
